As a creative professional pruner and shaper he offers a range of fruit tree management options from the standard twice a year pruning (green summer & winter dormant) to his turning your fruit trees living works of art that bear fruit.
Below are an ever-growing selection of fruiting trees and vines he has nurtured whether traditionally pruned or creatively to hedges, topiary or espalier for you to gain an insight into the depth of his work and enthusiasm for his art.
Traditionally pruned African Pride Custard Apple that was resized down 50% to about 1.2m so all fruit can be bagged to protect from possums. Note all the prunings were ‘chop and drop’.

This Iona Grape Arch is the entry to a new’ Garden Room’, As the years pass it’s trunks become ever thicker and stronger until one day the wire and black supports will be removed leaving a self-supporting heavily fruiting grape vine for the entry!
